Final Ted Talk Idea

My most transformative work experience has come from a startup I began working for a few months ago. Unlike past work experiences, my role wasn’t nearly geared as much towards my technical strengths, but focused more on client management and customer acquisition. This was not something I was strong in, but had to learn quickly to succeed in the fast-paced startup. I made many mistakes initially, but I persisted everyday in my responsibilities and overtime, learned to become very strong in my role. This experience encouraged me to embrace failure and journeying into the unknown to not be something that should be avoided, but rather embraced in order to improve, and the best way to do this is to set a daily goal to fail.

As Nelson Mandela once said, “I never lose. I either win or learn”. By setting daily goals for ourselves, dominating our weaknesses, and being willing to fail for the purpose of learning, we put ourselves in the best position to grow fast and succeed.
